Who can book an Anywhr trip?

How do I book an Anywhr trip?
Decide on a theme that suits you best (Adventure, Getaway, Experience). Then, select your travel budget and tell us your preferred dates and how many people are going on the trip, and make a booking. It's easy, just like booking on Skyscanner or Agoda. We will then ask for your preferences such as countries you do not wish to go, sleeping arrangements (single or double bed), and other things to make your Anywhr trip better. After that, just sit back, relax, and wait for the envelope containing your destination!
Will my Anywhr trip be less value for money than if I book a trip on my own?
No, of course not. The experience of a surprise trip, together with your specially curated destination and personalised travelogue, will ensure that your Anywhr trip gives you more bang for your buck. We also source for the best prices from our travel partners such as airlines and hotels. With all that plus the fun in a surprise holiday that's all arranged for you, we say go for it.
What are the differences between each holiday style?
They all offer the same things - Flights, Accommodation, Curated Travelogue. The difference lies in the type of activities that are available in the destination we send you to. For example, people who go on the Adventure holiday style will have their accommodation located near outdoor activities that will suit them best. If you select Getaway and tell us you like the beach, you will then live near a nice beach for your ultimate getaway relaxation.
Can I choose my destination?
No. It'll take all the fun out of the surprise! However, you can list places you have already been to and do not want to go back again. We will also not send you to over-travelled places such as KL, Bali, Phuket, Bangkok, as well as places that require a physical visa application, such as India.
What currency should I exchange?
In the Anywhr envelope mailed to you a week before your trip, it will contain enough cash to get you from your destination's airport to your accommodation. We will also highlight the money changers near your accommodation for you to exchange your Singapore Dollars.
What should I pack?
Three days after booking your Anywhr trip, you will receive an email telling you the weather of your destination at the time you're there. Eg. '20 degrees with chance of light rain.' Pack according to the weather and you will definitely be armed to explore! Also, remember to bring a universal travel adaptor.
Airport money changers have high rates - how do I bypass them?
In the Anywhr envelope mailed to you a week before your trip, it will contain enough cash to get you from your destination's airport to your accommodation. We will also highlight the best money changers near your accommodation for you to exchange your currency, so you won't have to change cash at the airport. We also recommend withdrawing local currency at ATMs once you're at your destination.
How much money should I bring?
It all depends on your travel and spending habits and trip duration. We recommend at least SGD50 to 80 per day. Bring a credit/debit card in case of emergency, or if you 'need' that necklace or limited edition sneakers. You can also withdraw cash overseas using your DBS ATM card at around SGD5 - easy as pie.
How will I know my flight time?
Three days after booking your Anywhr trip, you'll receive an email telling you the time to reach the airport on your date of travel, as well as which terminal to be at. The same email will tell you the weather to help you pack.
When will I know where I'm going?
A week or so before your trip, you will receive an envelope with your destination and a travel guide by post. We strongly advise you to open the envelope only when you're at the airport so as not to spoil the surprise!
What is included during an Anywhr trip?
The standard theme consists of return airfare to your designated airport, and good accommodation. We provide a curated travelogue according to your stated preferences, however we do not plan any activities or itinerary for you. It's up to you to explore, discover, and create your own memories.
What if I want more things planned for me?
Additional add-ons such as airport pickup, tours and activities can be requested to our trip planning experts after booking your trip. Simply fill up a form after checkout, and you can list all your preferences there.
Can I cancel my trip?
As soon as you have booked a trip with us we will organise all details of your trip. So if for any reason you need to cancel your trip, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org right away. We will immediately check what we can do for you.
How about travel insurance?
We will give you the option to purchase travel insurance at checkout, and we can do it for you at a nominal fee. Alternatively, you can use your existing annual travel insurance if it is valid. Let us know at the checkout form if you have any questions about insurance.
What if I don't see a theme I like?

What if I didn't like my trip?
Oh dear. Like every other holiday, unenjoyable things might happen during your vacation. We're sorry to hear that and do let us know if we can do anything to make your next Anywhr trip better.
Do you plan my travel activities?
No. We will only decide your destination and where you stay. The destination is all yours to explore and discover, and fuel your wanderlust.
Can you find a place suitable for my dietary preferences?
Of course! Simply let us know at the checkout form upon booking. Anywhr destinations are able to suit travellers with Vegetarian, Halal, and other dining preferences.
